The 4948CDB Excalibur dehydrator provides the capacity of the popular 9 tray size, but comes fully equipped with the features of the larger high end digital models. The digital display features the 2 Time / 2 Temp feature, which can be used to speed up the drying process, making the overall time of drying far less by setting a period of time at a higher temperature and a period of time at a lower temperature.
The 4948CDB provides 1.4m² of drying area (~18kg of food), a 48 hour digital timer, a clear door letting you view progress without interrupting the drying process, while lending a sleek, modern look to the unit, Hyperwave™ Patented Technology, and Parallex® Horizontal Air Flow.

With the perfect combination of high-low temperature settings you can maintain the food’s low temperature to preserve beneficial enzymes but speed up the process of drying.
