The Swedish built Joraform Little Pig Composter is
designed as a ‘continuous use’ compost tumbler which enables you to produce and
use compost simultaneously. It is built from the highest quality materials and
uses smart but simple features to make composting easy and simple.
The Joraform Little Pig Composter creates environment of both insulation and
aeration, making the optimum decomposition conditions, something a standard
compost bin simply cannot do.
The Joraform Little Pig Composter has a 125L capacity and is suitable for use
by a household of 4-6 people, processing between 10-12 litres of waste per
week!

The Joraform Little Pig has two internal
compartments meaning one side can be filled while the other matures. Once the
compartment is full, the other compartment can be emptied and the compost used,
ready for you to start filling that compartment again. This means you can use
your composter continuously working through the cycle of one chamber to the
other.
Insulation & Aeration
An ideal composting environment

The Joraform Little Pig Composter works on a
spinning rotating axis. The contents are easily mixed, without the need to use
a shovel to turn the contents over.
Air vents are centrally located throughout the unit so as the composter is
rotated air is drawn into the composter. This is something which is simply not
possible with a standard compost bin. By mixing the dry and wet matter within
the composter, odours are drastically reduced.
As the aeration occurs moisture is evenly distributed so new surface planes are
created for the mirco-organisms to digest the compost. “Aerobes” are the most
suitable organisms for helping to decompose waste. They are oxygen breathers and
there must be adequate oxygen for them to survive and do their job.
Insulation

The internal chambers of the Joraform Composter are
completely insulated by high-density polyethylene. Insulation creates heat of
around 65 °C, which is when organisms begin to grow and flourish. This is what
results in a reduced processing time, with compost being fully decomposed
within as little as 2 weeks.
At these temperatures the waste is broken down before any rot has had a chance
to grow and before rodents or pests are attracted. This is also helped by the
fact that the unit is completed sealed and secure.
The Joraform Composters are quite unique in the way that they simultaneously
provide the 2 key elements of successful composting – aeration and insulation.
Heavy Duty Construction

The Joraform Little Pig is made from powder coated
galvanized steel panels, which are built to last for years and are backed by a
2 year warranty. The quality of the steel is guaranteed to last through snow,
sun and wind without deterioration.
The panels are insulated by 5.48cm of polyethylene, a non-toxic plastic.
All bolts, screws and latches are made from rust-proof stainless steel.
Included High Stand
Easy access & use

The Little Pig Composter comes with a galvanized
steel High Stand, which means the composter sits 59cm high off the ground. This
further ensures rodents or animals cannot access your compost at any
time!
One of the big advantages of the high stand is that a wheelbarrow will easy fit
underneath so you can easily pour the compost into your wheelbarrow without the
need to strain your back or legs.
This is also handy for those who aren’t able to attach their composter to the
wall, for instance on rental properties.
